How we check

The registry is put together by Contessi Build, a Sunshine Coast builder working on passive house, eco and healthy homes. Every listing is something we'd consider for our own jobs.

What the labels mean

• Checked September 2026: the claims on the listing were checked against the maker's or stockist's own website on that date.
• Partly checked: the product and stockist are confirmed, but something is still open. The watch-outs say what.
• General guidance: a type of material rather than a specific product.
• Contessi Build's take: only appears where we've used the product ourselves.

Watch-outs

Every healthy product has a catch somewhere: lead times, price, installation, or a claim that needs the fine print. We list them so you don't find out on site.

How we're paid

No supplier pays to be listed, and right now none pay us anything at all. If that changes, for example a referral fee when you buy through a link here, we'll say so on this page and on the listing. It will never decide what gets listed.

Specs, stock and prices change. Check the current product data sheet and talk to your builder, designer or engineer before you specify anything.
